Our Pastors

Our Senior Pastor, Jim Rand, came to Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church in January, 1996, after serving congregations in Delaware and Massachusetts. His wife is a Christian Educator, and they have two grown sons. In his spare time, Jim enjoys baseball, biking, books, movies and museums. He brings his guitar to worship most Sundays, along with his desire to lead the whole congregation into new, lively, and life-shaping encounters with God through Jesus Christ.

Laura Loving, our Associate Pastor, has been ordained for 34 years (in the United Church of Christ) and her husband, Bill Humphreys, is the Chaplain at Carroll University (and occasional teacher and preacher for us). Laura is the mother of 3 grown children, and is the sister of three other seminary graduates! She has served several Presbyterian and UCC churches in addition to teaching English literature and writing at the high school and college level. She is a gifted communicator!
