Adult Education

Adult Enrichment at WPC seeks to cover four areas of the Christian life: Bible Study, Discipleship, History & Theology, and Spiritual Formation. Over the course of Sunday morning sessions, one may delve into a book of the Bible, consider the environmental mandates of the Gospels, learn about the Reformation or Presbyterian governance, or practice a time of contemplative prayer. Through a mix of lectures, group participation and quiet meditation, we hope that you will find an event that meets you on your faith journey."

There is a variety of programs offered throughout the school year during the children’s Sunday School hour. If you grew up unchurched, or are joining us from a different faith, you will find opportunities to learn more about what it means to be a Presbyterian. We’ve had programs touching on Bruce Springsteen’s music, a discussion of recommended books, labyrinth walking and centering prayer. Additional programs are held at times on Wednesday evenings (Wonderful Wednesdays) and occasionally on Saturdays or Sunday.

We currently offer:

●  Various Circle Groups (Ruth, Rachel, Lydia, Sarah)

●  The WPC Book Club

●  Encore Over55's

●  Chat Time for Retirees! 

Whatever you like, you’re likely to find it – and if not, you can probably find like-minded individuals and start it.  We are committed to life-long learning at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church.
