Welcome to Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, a “Community Through Christ and In Christ.”

Over the years, many people have told me that Thanksgiving is their all-time favorite holiday.  I agree.  It’s a time for the whole family to be together, counting our blessings and recommitting ourselves to be thankful every day.

This year, we will host the annual Thanksgiving Eve worship service with two other churches – Christ Presbyterian and Cross Lutheran.  This continues a tradition that has been ongoing among our churches for nearly 40 years.  This time, though, we will add a new twist …

Instead of having a dessert fellowship after the service (as in the past), we will host a light supper prior to worship.  We hope this will give us another good reason to say “thanks” that night and all the next day.

The date is Wednesday, November 26.  Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Worship follows in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. with music from the choir of each church (three more reasons to give thanks!) and a short message from each pastor. Communion will be served as a sign of our unity in Christ.  And the offering will go to support a specific mission program of our church, in order to spread the spirit of thankfulness to people in need.
