Wauwatosa Church and West Granville Church now own two labyrinths.
The labyrinth is a "prayer tool". It is not a maze. There is no right or wrong way to walk. There is one path in to the center and the same path is used to walk out. Each person has a different experience of prayer while walking the labyrinth.
The original large Perseverance Chartres-style Labyrinth can be rented for indoor use. It is thirty-seven feet in diameter. It is on heavy-duty canvas and is in three parts. The rental fee is $75. Rental can be arranged with the Wauwatosa Church office.
The smaller new labyrinth is twenty-four feet in diameter and is on canvas. It is for indoor use and is not being rented at this time.
We encourage everyone to learn about the labyrinth and to use it for prayer and meditation.
