In an era marked by increased racism toward Asian Americans, stories like The Wongs of Beloit Wisconsin are vital to understanding the plight and journeys of Asian immigrants both then and now. Told through a combination of first-hand accounts and scholarly inquiry, join us for a story of a thriving Chinese immigrant family overcoming racism and classism, embracing wartime opportunities, education, love, and careers in the US.
